Who is Trailblazer Badges?
Trailblazer Badges specializes in designing and manufacturing a wide range of custom products including badges, emblems, logos, nameplates, decorative trim, functional components, front panels, graphic overlays, die-cut adhesives, corporate jewelry and much more. Additionally, we create custom labels, decals, stickers, domed labels, embossed foil and anniversary seals, tap handle decals, auto dealer decals, graphic overlay decals, magnets, and printed tape for a multitude of industries. The primary goal for Trailblazer Badges has always been and will always be value creation for our partners, associates and customers.
Do you have a physical catalog?
Unfortunately, since all our of products are custom made to order, we do not offer a catalog. You can explore our extensive product line on our website and if you are looking for a custom product that is not on our website you can reach out to us and we can make it happen. FREE samples are available!
What are the lead times for custom badges, emblems and nameplates?
Lead times are 3-4 weeks from the time we receive your artwork approval. Our goal is always to have your order shipped out before promised deadlines. If we ever miss a deadline you next order is completely on us.
What if we are not happy with the quality of badges?
If you are not 100% satisfied with your badges we will remake them free of charge.
Are you able to sell wholesale to distributors?
Yes, we frequently sell wholesale to distributors. If you are a distributor and would like to receive special pricing be sure to include this information in your submission. One of our reps will reach out to you and provide you with a link to register as a distributor with us!
Can I change my order once the order has been placed?
Yes, this is no problem. We can adjust the order and even the artwork if necessary.
Is there a minimum order size?
Most of our custom badging, trim and functional component products have a minimum order quantity of 100, however we are able to manufacture smaller quantities upon request and have cost effective alternatives for smaller quantities.
What materials are your metal badges made of?
We have a vast array of materials at our disposal to ensure we manufacture your badges to your exact specifications. Materials include aluminum, stainless steel, nickel, copper, brass, polyester, polycarbonate, abs, acrylic and more!
What plating finishes are available?
Gold, Silver, Nickel, Copper, Black Nickel, Antique, and our own Duragold ™ that long outlasts standard soft gold plating. This plating is very good for use on Keyrings because it lasts much longer. Note: We advise against use of black nickel unless it is an essential design element.
Can you make us a sample?
Usually samples aren't required because this tends to delay manufacturing and delivery times. We also guarantee to re-make your badges if you're unhappy with the finished product. We are happy to provide free samples of other badges we've made that may closely reflect the badge type or design that you've requested. For customers requiring the manufacture of a single sample, we ask for an immediate payment of sample cost, which will vary from item to item base on the material, manufacturing method, surface process, etc. Sample cost is fully refunded when mass production order is placed.

Do we need to make payment online?
If you prefer not to provide your credit or debit card information online, you have the option to share the info over the phone or send us a check. Please reach out to us at info@trailblazerbadges.com for further details.
When is payment required?
No deposit is required for schools, government departments (including local government) and established customers. For all other customers requiring custom made products we require payment once you have approved your free proof/artwork.
Is it safe to order using credit card through your website?
We use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology to ensure that your personal and credit card information is securely protected, providing you with the highest standard of online security.
Do you offer refunds?
If you are not completely satisfied with your products we will work with you to make the necessary changes and remake them for free!

Shipping & Proofing
Do you provide us with artwork/proof before manufacturing our custom branding?
Yes, we provide a free PDF proof via email for your review and approval before we begin manufacturing. We work with you making any necessary adjustments to the proof until you are completely happy, only then do we begin manufacturing.
How long does it take for the proof/artwork to be ready?
Proofs are ready within 24-48 hours of confirming all the details with you. Timeframe will be dependent on the product and complexity of the design.
What is the cost of shipping?
Shipping is free on all orders in the United States.
How do you ship your orders?
We work with different freight companies, but most frequently utilize FedEx.
How long does it typically take to receive orders once they have been shipped out?
Shipping usually takes 2-3 days from the time the order has been shipped out. This is dependent on where in the United States you are located. Most of our orders are shipped from Los Angeles, CA.
Do you have the ability to ship to different locations?
Yes, we can ship your order to multiple locations.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we are able to ship internationally, however shipping is only free for orders within the United States.
Artwork
What image formats do you accept for our artwork?
We typically need what is known as a vector or source file. However, we understand that many may not have these file formats. Send us what you have and our designers can convert the file to the proper format for manufacturing.
Are you able to help us with our design?
Yes, we have designers who are able to assist with design, including helping you create a design from scratch.
Are we able to use JPG or JPEG files for our artwork?
Yes, provided that the images resolution is at least 330ppi.
What is DPI or PPI?
DPI, which stands for Dots Per Inch, is an older term that has been largely replaced by PPI, or Pixels Per Inch. PPI measures the resolution of an image by indicating the number of pixels per inch that a monitor can display both horizontally and vertically. Most computer screens display images at 72 PPI, which looks fine on the screen but is insufficient for printing purposes. For high-quality printed products, the artwork needs to be at least 300 PPI at its actual size to ensure clarity and sharpness.
