Understanding when and how changes can be made.

Before Approval

Changes can generally be incorporated into the drawing or sample process.

After Approval

Changes may require revised drawings, additional samples, pricing, or lead time.

After Production Begins

Some changes may no longer be possible without restarting part of the production process.

Reorders & Existing Parts

Have a previous order? We will identify the existing approved specification and confirm whether anything has changed before the new order proceeds.

Exact Reorder

Same construction, dimensions, finish, attachment, and approved specification.

Reorder With Quantity Change

Same part with a different production quantity.

Revision to an Existing Part

A change to artwork, dimensions, finish, attachment, or construction creates a new revision that is reviewed separately.

Common Project Questions

Answers to the most common questions from active customers.

Can I change a design after approving the drawing?

Yes, but changes made after drawing approval may require a revised drawing, updated pricing, additional samples, or additional lead time depending on the change.

What happens after I approve my sample?

Once the sample is approved, production proceeds against the approved drawing, sample, and applicable specifications.

Can I change an order after production has started?

Possibly, but some changes may no longer be practical once production begins. We will review the requested change and confirm what can still be accommodated before proceeding.

How do I reorder a previous part?

Provide the previous PO, invoice, quote, drawing, part number, or approximate order date. We will identify the existing approved specification and confirm the new quantity before the reorder proceeds.

I do not have a part number. Can you locate my project?

Yes. A company name, previous PO, invoice number, quote number, contact name, or approximate order date can often help us locate the project.

How and when will I receive tracking information?

Tracking information is provided after the order has been packaged and the shipment has been scheduled or released to the carrier.

What should I do if a shipment arrives damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible with the order number, delivery details, and clear photos of the packaging and affected parts so we can review the shipment.

How do I submit a revised purchase order?

Send the revised purchase order to your Trailblazer contact and clearly identify the changes from the previous version so they can be reviewed before the order proceeds.
