Materials

Brass - We craft our badges from solid brass, the traditional material used for badges, medals, medallions, and pins—valued for its strength, weight, and timeless appeal. While many competitors use die-cast zinc alloy, which is more brittle and prone to wear, we choose brass to uphold the integrity, prestige, and longevity that a true symbol of authority deserves.

Manufacturing Process

Metal Stamping - We use traditional stamping to craft our security enforcement officer badges—a process that presses brass with immense force to create deep, crisp details that stand the test of time. Unlike modern shortcuts, stamped badges have a weighty, authentic feel, with every ridge and contour catching the light, reflecting the prestige and authority they represent.

Enamel Type

Soft Enamel - The most commonly used enamel for badges, offering a cost-effective solution that creates vibrant, textured designs with recessed color-filled areas for a striking, detailed finish.

Hard Enamel - Also known as "Cloisonne Enamel", is the traditional method used for centuries in decorative art, is created by layering and firing powdered glass at high temperatures until it melts and forms an ultra-durable, smooth surface. The result is a badge with a brilliant, polished finish that is so tough, only a diamond can scratch it. While many competitors claim to use hard enamel, they often use imitation alternatives—true hard enamel is crafted from real melted glass, ensuring unmatched durability and authenticity.

Attachments

It is essential to choose the method that best suits your intended use and uniform requirements. Here are some common attachment options:

1. Pin & Safety Catch: This is the most prevalent attachment, ideal for securing badges to uniform shirts or jackets.

2. Wallet Clip: Resembling a money clip, this attachment is designed for badges carried in wallets or credential cases.

3. Screw Back: Predominantly used for mounting on hats or caps, this method features a screw post that passes through a pre-made eyelet, secured with a nut.

4. Clutch Back: Consisting of one or more pins with butterfly clutches, this attachment is common for insignia, collar brass, nameplates, and lapel pins.

5. Glue in Leather: Also known as a permanent mount, this method involves adhering a flat badge directly into a custom-cut leather accessory, such as a wallet or belt clip holder.

6. Lugs: This attachment features two posts with holes on the back of the badge, through which a large safety pin is inserted to secure the badge to the uniform.

7. Acrylic Pocket Clip: Ideal for displaying badges on suit or coat pockets, this attachment involves mounting the badge and nameplate onto a clear acrylic plate that slides over or attaches to the pocket, providing a professional appearance without altering the garment.
